CELEBRANT
Fr. Michael Schueller

Warren R. Stupka, the son of Raymond J. and Mary Ann (Young) Stupka, was born March 23, 1952 at Forest City. Once he was old enough to walk he started working on the farm with his father and spent many happy days on the tractor. He graduated from Garner-Hayfield High School in 1970 and attended NIACC for two years where he became an accomplished serviceman for air conditioning and refrigeration work in the Garner area. He lived on a farm north of Garner with his mother his entire life. He planted many oak and pine trees on the farm and watched over them carefully. Warren was a wonderful son, brother,
brother-in-law and uncle to four nieces and a good friend to everyone. He enjoyed tinkering in his workshop, driving his Bobcat and talking to his dog, Muffin, a very large and friendly St. Bernard. He also looked forward to spending time with his uncles and participated in many spirited card games. He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Ann Stupka of Garner; his sister, Nancy Upton and her husband, Dean, of Des Moines; four nieces, Jessica, Brianna, Katherine and Corrin Upton all of Des Moines; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond, in August of 1972.
