MRS. BOTSFORD SERVICES SET AT BRITT CHURCH

Britt – Mrs. C. W. (Mary M.) Botsford, 83, widow of Charles W. Botsford, died at a Dubuque rest home Sunday. She had been ill the last several years.

Born March 28, 1879, at Holy Cross, Iowa; she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mathias Schroeder. She was married I 1907 in Dubuque. Her husband operated Botsford Drug store here more than 40 years. She was a member of St. Patrick Church, the Rosary Society and Catholic Daughters of America.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick Church here. The Rev. Justin A. Kane will officiate. The Rosary will be said Tuesday at 7:30 at Boughton Funeral Home, Britt. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Surviving are two daughters; Mrs. Harold (Lorraine) Gunderson, Osage; Mrs. Joseph (Jeanette) G’Sell, St. Louis, Mo.; five grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren; a brother, T. J. Schroeder, Phoenix, Arizona; a sister; Mrs. M. S. Theisen, Dubuque.
She was preceded in death by a son Cletus, her husband, two brothers and a sister.

Mary Schroeder married Charles William Botsford. He was born September 1, 1881 and died in 1952.
