JIMMIE MARTIN KARSJENS - 1938-1960
Jimmie Martin Karsjens, son of Martin and Belle Karsjens, was born at Klemme, Iowa, January 11, 1938. He grew to adulthood in the community, attending public schools and graduating from the Klemme High School in 1957. During 1958 he served for 6 months in the armed forces of our country.
Jimmie was baptized into the Christian faith in Immanuel Evangelical and Reformed Church of Klemme, January 19, 1941. He became a communicant member of the church by rite of confirmation April 16, 1954. He departed this life sometime during the early morning hours of June 19, 1960.
Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Karsjens of Klemme; one sister, Mrs. Carl N. (Delores) Pearson of Klemme; one brother, Ronald of Mobridge, S. D.; his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Louise Waddingham of Klemme; his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Karsjens of Iowa Falls, Iowa; one niece, 3 nephews and many relatives and friends.
