DAVID P. ANDERSON - 1888-1960

David P. Anderson was born May 21, 1888 to Thomas and Ann Peters Anderson in Osage City, Kansas,one of nine children.
He grew to manhood on the family farm and was educated in the nearby country school.

He was graduated from Kansas City Veterinary College in 1918. He served in the Veterinary Corps of the U. S. Army in World War I.

He will long be remembered for his 40 years of devotion as a Sunday School teacher.

He was a member of the Klemme Methodist Church, Adams-Schaefer Post of the American Legion, Bethel Lodge at Garner and the Topeka Consistory of Topeka, Kansas.

For the last nine years he has worked at the Land 0' Lakes Plant in Albert Lea, Minnesota as a Government Poultry Inspector. It was in this place on Friday, November 25, 1960 that he passed away at the age of 72 years, 5 months and 4 days.

He leaves besides his wife, Geneva, one daughter, Neva Ann of Scarville; two grandchildren: Katherine and Paula; two sisters: Emma Wesson of Garner and May (Mrs. H. C. Johnson), Kansas City, Missouri; three brothers: Henry, Miller, Kansas; Fred, Los Angeles, California; Roy, San Diego, California and a host of more distant relatives and friends.
