Donald John Larson, 72, of Duncan, died Thursday (Feb. 4, 1988) at his home.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at the United Methodist Church, Britt, with the Rev. Todd Schlitter officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Britt.
Visitation is after 2 p.m. Sunday at Ewing Funeral Chapel, Britt.
He was born June 2, 1915, near Britt, the son of Otto F. and Minnie (Swanson) Larson.
He graduated from Britt High School in 1932.
He served in the mounted calvary with the U. S. Army during World War II.
On Sep. 19, 1944, he married Dorothy Knoedler at Britt.
They made their home in the Britt and Duncan area.
He was a member of the United Methodist Church of Britt, Britt American Legion and the Hancock County Farm Bureau.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy, Duncan; and one sister, Mrs. Delmont (Miriam) Stokke, Edina, Minn.

1915-1988Services for Donald J. Larson, 72, of Duncan, who died Thursday, Feb. 4, 1988 at his home, were held Monday, Feb. 8, 1:30 p.m., at the United Methodist Church in Britt with Rev. Todd Schlitter officiating.
Music was provided by organist, Harriet Beaman, and soloist, Russell Schubert. Ushers were Gilbert Guenther and Robert Hiscocks, Jr.
Honorary casket bearers were Albert Rasmuson, Robert Gross and Maurice Keil.
Active casket bearers were William Friedow, Maynard Swanson, Dennis Kline, James Hampe, Jerry Ingvall and James Trulson.
Burial was at the Evergreen Cemetery in Britt with Ewing Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
