Services for Margo Wille Johnson, 49, of Seattle, WA. formerly of Klemme, who died Sunday, March 30, 1997, at Virginia Mason Hospital in Seattle, Wa. were held 10 a.m. Friday April 4, at Zion Evangelical & Reformed Church in Garner with Rev. Darrell Weber as officiant.
Music was provided by Margaret Jass, organist, Mary Tendall, pianist, and Doug Hayes, soloist. Allan DeWitt and H.W. "Bud" Montgomery served as ushers.
Casket bearers were cousins, Elwyn Rockow, Daryl Rockow, Leon Blanchet, Kendall Blumer, Lonnie Schmidt and Jamie Schmidt.
Burial was in the Ell Township Cemetery in Klemme. Visitation was held at the Cataldo Funeral Chapel in Garner.
Margo Mae Wille Johnson, the daughter of Raymond and Margie Mae (Blumer) Wille was born September 8, 1947 at Garner. After graduating from Klemme High School in 1965, she attended Iowa State University in Ames where she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in computer science and mathematics.
Margo was married to Ross Johnson at the Immanuel Reformed United Church of Christ in Klemme on March 2, 1968.
Margo worked for Pioneer Data Systems in Des Moines after her graduation from Iowa State University. She later worked for Parke Davis Pharmaceutical Company in Detroit, MI, and at General Motors Corporation during which time she earned her Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology from Mary Grove College in Detroit, MI. She moved to Toledo, OH, where she served as hospital administrator at St, Vincent's Hospital and earned a Master's of Business Administration Degree from the University of Michigan. In 1990 she moved to Seattle, WA to serve as business administrator at Virginia Mason Clinic. Throughout her life Margo enjoyed traveling, reading, genealogy, and visiting her family and friends. She was continually educating herself and had an intense thirst for knowledge.
She was a member of Sigma Kappa Sorority, and Seattle Chorale Society and Mensa.
She is survived by her father, Raymond E. Wille and his wife Alice of Hampton; two sisters; Marian Greiman, and her husband, Randy of Garner and Jodie Bredlow and her husband Gerry of Spencer; two stepsisters, Sandra Murphy of Hampton and Kim Whipple of Hampton; a stepbrother Mark Maier, of St. Louis, MO; and five nieces and nephews, Shana Greiman, Stacy Greiman, Dustin Bredlow, Kelly Bredlow, and Ashley Bredlow.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Margie Wille, on October, 12, 1974.
