Funeral services for Baron F. Short, 49, were held Nov. 12 at the First Congregational Church with Rev. Ward Malloy officiating.

Myra Maxon was the organist.

Casket bearers were Richard Burtnett, H.G. Madsen, Jr., Virgil Nicholson, Jack Pelz, Robert Pelz Jr., and Merle Wing. Honorary bearers were Ron Bailey, Dan Brown, Bill, Chris and Mike Burnett, and James Farmer.

Burial was in Graceland Cemetery and flag folding services were conducted by the American Legion Post.

Mr. Short died Nov. 9.
