David Timm, 36, Orinda, Calif., a former Webster City resident, died Friday morning, June 29, at the Alta-Bates Hospital in Berkley, Calif. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 3 at 3 p.m. at the Foster Funeral Home of Webster City, Rev. Phillip Baker officiating. Burial will be in the Cass Center Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home will be after 5 p.m. today until time of service.

David Andrew Timm, son of Elmer and Georgia June Olson Timm, was born Sept. 30, 1953 in Webster City, where he graduated from high school. He graduated from the nursing program at Iowa Central Community College. He married Kathleen Gaines on Dec. 30, 1989, in Pleasant Hill, Calif. The couple resided in Orinda, Calif. Mr. Timm was employed at the San Francisco General Hospital in the newborn nursery.

He is survived by his wife, Kathleen, Orinda, and two stepsons, Jamie Gaines and Peter Gaines; his parents, Elmer and Georgia June Olson Timm, Webster City; his brothers, Terry Timm, Louisville, Ky; Rickie Timm, Williams; and Robert Timm, Oceanside, Calif.; several nieces and nephews.

He was a member of the Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church in Orinda, and was also a member of the Neo-Natal Nurses of California.
