May 7, 1981Glen E. Ulrick, 65, of Stratford, died at the Hamilton County Hospital in Webster City Tuesday.
Services will be Friday, May 8, at 1:30 p.m. at the Stratford First Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert Haring officiating and burial will be in the Oakwood Cemetery north of Stratford. Friends may call at the Hanson-Stark-Welin Funeral Home in Stratford Thursday from 4 to 9 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. until noon.
Survivors include three sisters Arlene Ulrick of Stratford, Pearl (Mrs. John) Starr of Nashua, and Doris (Mrs. Everett) Dodge of South Pasadena, Calif.; four brothers, Julius Ulrick of Boone, Lloyd Ulrick of Stratford and Willard Ulrick and Robert Ulrick of Waterloo; and 11 nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Virgil.
He was born July 2, 1915, in Pilot Mound, the son of Wallie and Anna [Adamson] Ulrick. He received his education in rural Stratford country schools and moved with his parents to Stratford 1930.
He worked as a farm laborer in the Stratford area.
