STRATFORD - Funeral services were held Monday for Mrs. Mabel Holt, 78, of Boone. Rev. Robert Ruppert conducted the services which were held in the Hanson funeral home in Stratford.
Mrs. Holt was born Feb. 23, 1883 at Stratford, the daughter of John Johnson and Anna Olsen Johnson. She died Oct. 29 in the Boone County Hospital. Mrs. Holt had made her home in Boone for the past several years.
She attended school in Stratford and was a graduate of Stratford High School. She taught for two years in a rural school south of Stratford.
She was married to Fred W. Holt of Stratford in 1915. He preceded her in death in 1950. Her parents, two sisters and a brother also preceded her in death.
She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Nettie Johnson of Great Falls, Mont.; three nieces, and her brother-in-law, Clyde Holt of Boone.
