Mrs. L. J. Cottington* Died Sunday

Mrs. Lee J. Cottington* died at two o'clock Sunday morning, after a serious sickness of but a few days. Some sort of trouble of the throat has bothered her for some time past and, taking an acute turn, resulted in death. Funeral services were held in Webster City Tuesday afternoon, conducted by Rev. L. C. McLaughlin of the Universalist church. Interment was made in the Webster City cemetery.

Mrs. Cottington was but about thirty years of age and her untimely death leaves four small children motherless. She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Parry, of Webster City, where she was born and reared to young womanhood, and in that community as well throughout all the southwestern part of the county are hosts of friends who sympathize deeply with the bereaved husband and other relatives in their affliction.

*SUBMITTER'S NOTE: The husband of the deceased is Levi Bridge "Lee" Cottington, not L. J. Cottington as stated.
