MR. AND MRS. ANTON RASMUSSEN LOSE A SON

All in this community will unite with the Record in extending sympathy to Mr. and Mrs. Anton Rasmussen of Jewell who are mourning the loss of their son, Anton Emil [sic]. The boy passed away Monday night, death being due to heart failure. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the home conducted by Rev. H. A. Okdale with Miss Emma R. Knudson at the piano and two little daughters of Rev. and Mrs. Wick leading in singing. Interment was made in Evergreen cemetery.

Anton Emil Rasmussen [sic] was born March 9th, 1913 and died August 29th, 1921. He was 8 years, 5 months and 20 days of age at the time of his departure.
