THOMAS THOMPSON DIED AT RENWICK
Thomas T. Thompson, son of Tom and Guri Thompson, was born on a farm two miles north of Randall April 21, 1864, and passed away at his home in Renwick June 17, 1939, at the age of 75 years, 1 month and 16 days. Death was due to cerebral hemorrhage and heart trouble. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith at Story City by Rev. Amlund. In 1890 he was united in marriage to Martha Swenson of Radcliffe, who survives him. To this union five children were born, all of whom survive, as follows: Abner of Washington state, Mrs. Thelma Miller and Mrs. Beatrice McCrary of Renwick, Mrs. Lavonne Way of LuVerne and Lyle at home; also three grandchildren and three sisters, Mrs. Anna Hall of Clear Lake, Mrs. Julia Trooien of Eagle Grove, Mrs. Belle Egland of Moscow, Idaho, and one brother, Iver Thompson of Randall. Funeral was held June 19, at 12 o'clock at the home and at the Baptist church at Renwick, Rev. E. F. Thompson in charge. Burial was made in a cemetery east of Ellsworth.
