Beverly Sylvester, 63, of Webster City died Friday, July 5 at the Hamilton County Public Hospital. Funeral services were held Monday, July 8 at 1:30 p.m. at the Foster Funeral home, with Ray Artrip officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery.

Beverly Ann Rollins, daughter of Donald and Dorothy Kelly Rollins, was born Sept. 4, 1932 in Fort Dodge. At the age of eight, she moved, with her parents, to Webster City. She attended Webster City schools.

On Nov. 25, 1971 she married Guy Sylvester of Nashua. The couple resided in Webster City. She had been employed at J.J. Newberrys and 27 years at Consolidated Freight and Storage. She retired in 1995 because of failing health.

She is survived by her husband, Guy; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Connie McLaughlin of Webster City; grandchildren, Stephanie, Krista and Eric McLaughlin; sisters, La Vonne Greufe of Blairsburg, Barbara Nemechek of Dayton, Vona Scott of Webster City; brothers, Terry and Don Rollins, Jr., both of Webster City; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Bruce Rollins, in 1981.
