OBITUARY

ANNA MELINDA JACOBSON

Anna Melinda Jacobson, passed away at Bethany Manor on Tuesday am, August 5, at the age of 86 years, 11 months and 25 days. She had been a resident of the home for the past one and one-half years and prior to that, a patient at the Story City Memorial Hospital in Story City for two years.

Anna was the daughter of Samuel and Carrie Larson and was born in Randall on August 11, 1882 and was baptized and confirmed into the Lutheran faith. She was a member of the Elim Lutheran Church in Randall until the time of her death.

On December 31, 1900 she was united in marriage to Jacob S. Jacobson and to this union were born four children - Hazel, Clara, Sherman and Stanton. Three children having preceded her in death, she ahs surviving one son, Stanton, of Randall. Also surviving are two brothers, John Larson of Randall and Alfred Larson of Nevada and six grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at Elim Lutheran Church in Randall on Friday, August 8, 1969 with the Rev. Wm. Gregerson officiating. Soderstrum-Larson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Interment was in the Mt. Olive Cemetery in Randall.

Pallbearers were David Larson, Lawrence Larson, Frederick Larson, Richard Teigland, Jeffery Carpenter and Arden Quam.
