Mrs. Kenneth (Mona) Sweet, 42, died this morning at the Hamilton County hospital where she had been a patient since Sunday. She had been in ill health the past few months.

Funeral arrangements are pending and will be announced later by the Foster Funeral home.

Mrs. Sweet is survived by her husband, two sons and two daughters: Stephen Sweet, Milwaukee, Wis., Lynette Kay, Cynthia Joan and Kevin Arthur Sweet, all at home; by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Arthur J. Cook of Zearing, Iowa; and two sisters, Mrs. Don (Nancy) Meyer of Iowa Falls; Mrs. David (Joan) Borchert of Graetna, La.

Memorial services were held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday for Mrs. Kenneth (Mona) Sweet, 42, at the Foster Funeral home with the Rev. Henry Robbins and Rev. Earl Kneebone officiating.

Organ music was supplied by Mrs. William Steinbruch.

Mrs. Sweet died Wednesday at the Hamilton County hospital. The body was taken for cremation at Des Moines.

[Mona was the daughter of Arthur Joseph and Maude McMurray Cook who are buried at the Nevada Municipal Cemetery, Nevada, Story Co., Iowa; Mona and Kenneth Sweet are buried at Vegors Cemetery, Webster Co., Iowa; Mona passed away from cancer at the age of 42 - Find A Grave Memorial # 27779171]
