Wm. Marion Barr, aged 63 years, passed away July 16 at his home in Hartford, S.D.

He had been in frail health with heart trouble for nearly a year, and after a severe attack two weeks ago grew gradually weaker until the end came.

Mr. Barr was born near Garden City, Minn., and when 14 years of age moved with his parents to this vicinity, where he grew to manhood.

Mr. Barr had a genial, likeable nature and made friends quickly.

He is survived by his wife and son, Clarence. One daughter preceded him in death ten years ago. Three granddaughters, Gladys and Lelia Conlee and Marion Kennedy, and two sisters and one brother, John T. Barr and Mrs. Martha Meeks, of this city, and Mrs. Elsie Robinson, of Gilbert, also mourn his passing.

The body was brought here and services held Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the Foster funeral parlors, conducted by Rev. E.C. McDade. Mrs. B.G. Paine and Mrs. Geo. Younkee sang.
