Enid Claude, 72, Woolstock, died Aug. 5, 1993 at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. Services were held today at Foster Funeral Home with the Rev. Marlene Brown officiating. Burial was in Graceland Cemetery.

Enid Lorraine Doolittle, daughter of Clyde and Velma (Behrendsen) Doolittle, was born March 25, 1921 at Webster City. She was educated at Woolstock, graduating in 1939.

On June 3, 1939 she married Clifford Claude in Webster City. The couple farmed in the Woolstock area.

She is survived by her husband; sons and daughters-in-law, J. Caroll and Anne Claude of Delavan, Ill. and Bryan and Julie Claude of Woolstock; daughters and sons-in-law, Jeanone and Russell McClure of Ogden and Marlys and Jim Caquelin and Ellen Stanley, all of Durham, N.C.; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Virgene.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Woolstock, the United Methodist Women and was active in various church committees.
