THE PASSING OF MRS. B.R. BREWER

Died Last Night at the Family Home in Northwest Part of the City

Mrs. B.R. Brewer passed away at 12:15 last night at the family home in the extreme northwest part of town following an extended illness with heart trouble and complications. She had been very ill at her home for several weeks when she was removed to Mercy hospital, where she hovered between life and death for a month. For the past fortnight she had been at home again.

Ella Elizabeth O'Rourke was born in Iowa fifty five years ago last January and was a long time resident of Webster City. She married B.R. Brewer in this city many years ago and is survived by her husband, a son, Frank Brewer, two brothers, Peter O'Rourke of this city and Lawrence O'Rourke of Heron Lake, Minn. Mrs. John O'Rourke of this place was both an adopted sister and a sister-in-law of the deceased. Mrs. Rose Mullins and son Richard J. Mullins, formerly Webster City residents now living in Sheldon, were cousins and second cousin of Mrs. Brewer.

The deceased was a faithful and industrious worker and had been employed in many homes in Webster City during the years that have passed. She was a good neighbor and an abiding friend and all who knew her will be saddened by her death.

The funeral services will be held from the Catholic church, of which society Mrs. Brewer was an exemplary member, Thursday morning at 9 o'clock, conducted by Father Thos. A. Barry, and interment will be made in the Catholic cemetery.
