A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Sunday, April 2, 2023 at the Boardroom, 2220 37th Street, Moline, Illinois. JoAnn Kathleen Doering, daughter of Rudy and Leona (Kirschner) Doering, was born December 20, 1932 in Muscatine, IA. She graduated from Muscatine high school. She eloped with Richard Kuebler on May 28, 1955 in Shawneetown, IL. The couple moved to Bettendorf in 1958. When she wasn’t busy raising her four rambunctious children, she enjoyed bowling league, sewing fabulous things for said children, crocheting and watching her “favorite show” – Young and the Restless.

JoAnn and Richard enjoyed several years of traveling, seeing many sights aboard cruise ships before settling in Tucson, AZ in 2010. Her favorite pastime in later years was playing Bingo. Her husband always joked she was gambling away her children’s inheritance. They moved to Webster City, IA in 2019 to be closer to family.

She is survived by her children, Rick Kuebler, Lori (Tim) Ulloa, Bret (Cheryl) Kuebler all of Bettendorf, Juli Jaycox of Webster City; grandchildren, Anna, Emma, Cooper, and Maia; three great-grandchildren; step-grandchildren, Teah and Shay; a nephew and nieces.

JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Richard; daughter-in-law, Ann Kuebler and son-in-law, Scott Jaycox.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
