Friday, October 2, 2015Linda Lou Waddle of Iowa City, Iowa, died Monday, September 28, 2015 at her residence following a lengthy illness.
Linda was born November 24, 1936 in Webster City, Iowa, the daughter of Carroll Chester "Tad" and Mary Ellen (Isham) Van Doren. She graduated from Webster City High School in 1954 and also from Webster City Junior College. Her favorite things were libraries, books and cats.
She is survived by one son, Steven Waddle and wife Brenda of Cedar Falls, Iowa; granddaughter, Lauren Waddle of Waverly, Iowa; sister, Mickey Van Doren of Iowa City, Iowa; sister, Karen Moenck and husband John of Washington, Iowa; four nieces and nephews and four great nieces and nephews.
The Jones & Eden Funeral Home of Washington, Iowa, is assisting the family with arrangements. No services are scheduled. Memorials have been established for the Cedar Falls High School Library. Online condolences may be sent for Linda's family through the web at www.jonesfh.com
