Joint memorial services for Shirley and Harold Fisher will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 26, 2005 at the Foster Chapel, with Pastor Ray Artrip officiating. Joint burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before the memorial service. Graveside military rites will be conducted by American Legion Post #191 of Webster City. Arrangements were made with the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center at Webster City.

Shirley Woodmansee Fisher, 84, of Webster City, died Monday, March 21, 2005 at Crestview Senior Living at Webster City.

Shirley Iona Stanley, daughter of Charles and Ermal Schweppe Stanley, was born February 21, 1921 on a farm near Webster City. She attended a rural school near Webster City. In September of 1941, she married Howard Frank Woodmansee at Lake Okoboji. The couple resided at Webster City. She had been employed at Fairmont Foods, Morton Frozen Foods, Ross' Lounge, all in Webster City and the Sturtz Lounge at Stratford. The couple were later divorced. On January 13, 1969 she married Harold Dean Fisher at Sioux Falls, S.D. The couple resided at Webster City then moved to Stratford in 1977. Mr. Fisher died December 27, 2003. She moved to Gillette, Wy in January of 2004 and to Crestview in June of 2004.

Mrs. Fisher is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, Sandy and Dean Crouch of Webster City; Sally and Jim Crouch of Stanhope; Mickie and Truman Sharkey of Gillette, Wy., step-daughter and husband, Linda and Denny Ziesman of Webster City, step-daughter-in-law, Carol Fisher of Webster City; 17 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, step-sons, Rick and Randy Fisher; brothers, Herman and Loren (Pete) Stanley, sisters, Doris Boone and Bonnie Thomas.

She was baptized in the Church of Christ of Webster City.
