Doris Pringle, 93, Webster City, died Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2003 at the Southfield Wellness Community. Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at the Foster Funeral Home with Pastor Ray Henderson officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the services at the funeral home.

Doris Marie Hanson, daughter of Gilbert and Alice Petersen Hanson, was born May 24, 1910 at Mason City. She received her education in Stanhope, graduating in 1926. In 1938, she married Forrest Andrew Pringle at Des Moines. The couple resided at Webster City. She had been employed at Dr. E.F. Rambo's office, J.C. Penney and Farm Journal for over 25 years, retiring in 1988. Mr. Pringle died Nov. 1, 1969. She continued to reside in Webster City.

Mrs. Pringle is survived by daughters and son-in-law, Kathy and Craig Carlisle of Bella Vista, Ark., Sandra Boyd of Wheaton, Ill., son and daughter-in-law, Craig and Tahnese Pringle of Boone, grandchildren, Brooke McVicker, Stacey Nelson, KyLee Vonderharr, Chad and Tyler Westrum, eight great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Audrey Hanson of Overland Park, Kan.; Inez Ferrell of Ames, several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Brad Boyd, her parents, two brothers and a sister.

She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, Webster City Women's Club and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.
