Bennie M. Snider, 88, of Webster City, passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2022, in Richmond, VA, where he was currently living with his daughter. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 18, 2023, at Lighthouse Ministries in Fort Dodge. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in the Genoa Cemetery, south of Seymour in June. Foster Funeral and Cremation Center is entrusted with the services.

Bennie Myrl Snider, son of Samuel and Myrtle Stroud Snider, was born May 27, 1934, in Corydon, Iowa. He graduated from Seymour high school in 1952. Bennie was united in marriage to Marilyn Ann Clark on August 22, 1958, in Seymour. He worked many years for Wright Tree Service, Haggie Manufacturing, and the City of Webster City as a service lineman prior to his retirement.

He is survived by his son, Tim (Brenda) Snider of Stanhope; daughter, Linda (Greg) Hazzard of North Chesterfield, VA; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother, Miles Snider of Centerville; sisters-in-law, Helen Snider of Corydon, Janet Seals of Centerville; brother-in-law, Bobby Clark of Albia and many extended family.

Bennie was preceded in death by his wife Marilyn in 2021.
