Jeffrey James Rich, 58, of Webster City, died on Thursday, December 22, 2022, in Iowa City, Iowa. Visitation will be at Boman Funeral Home (www.bomanfh.com) on Saturday, January 7, 2022, from 1:00 -2:45 PM followed by a memorial service at 3:00 PM.

Jeff was born on May 16, 1964, in Minneapolis, Minnesota to James and Grace (Crawford) Rich. He grew up in Duluth Minnesota. On October 19, 1996, he married Rhonda Asklund. Most recently he worked at Van Diest Supply company as a supervisor and then as a merchandiser for Pepsi.

Jeff loved working with his hands, traveling when he could, movies and spending time with his family. He loved to make people laugh.

Jeff’s family included his wife; two children: Dustin (Tamie) Rich, of Webster City and Britni Rich of Fort Dodge; seven grandchildren; two sisters: Janet (Steve) Hansen of Mason City, and Kathy Soloman of Grimes; several nieces and nephews; parents-in-law Randy and Susan Asklund, of Duncombe; two brothers-in-law: Jeremy Asklund of Fort Dodge and Daniel Asklund of Webster City. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother-in-law Mike Soloman.
