Sheryl L. Helton, 58, of Marshalltown, died Thursday, August 26 at Marshalltown Medical & Surgical Center.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday at Elim Lutheran Church with Pastor Myron Herzberg of Nevada officiating. Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Alden Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Estel Perrin Avey Funeral Home with the family present at this time. A memorial fund is being established.

She was born September 30, 1945 in Hampton, Iowa to Freeman and Lilian Tordoff Radabaugh. Raised and educated in Williams, Iowa, she later graduated from the Blairsburg High School. Sheryl was employed as a bookkeeper at Krantman Steel & Action Auto for 18 years. She was also employed at Marshall County Day Care for nine years.

Surviving are four sons, Mike Helton and friend Kathy Ehler of Kellogg, Jeff Helton of Webster City, D.J. (Brandy) Helton of Buckeye and Jason (Michelle) Helton of Marshalltown; four sisters, Iola Meyer of Iowa Falls, Patricia Bunch of Des Moines, Eva (Clair) Wepel of Ankeny and Phyllis Wyatt of Marshalltown. Also surviving are nine grandchildren: Stephanie, Dakota, Walker, Tayrian, Austin, Morganne, Taylor, Blake and Cody.

She was preceded n death by her parents and a brother, Irving.
