Harry Stewart, 26, widely known resident of the Blairsburg community, died Thursday noon at Lutheran hospital in Fort Dodge where he had been a patient for more than two weeks. He had been bedfast since June 24, and seriously ill about two and one-half weeks with heart trouble.

Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Foster funeral home here, the Rev. Hughes of Blairsburg officiating and burial in Blairsburg cemetery.

Son of Fred and Daisy Stewart, Harry Dale Stewart was born April 12, 1918 on a farm near Blairsburg school.

May 14, 1930 he was married to Leona Deakman and they took up farming on a place north of Blairsburg which had since been their home.

Mr. Stewart was preceded in death by two sisters, Mabel and Mildred. He is survived by his wife, one daughter, Shirley, four years old and one son, Donald Dale, 19 months; also his mother and father of Blairsburg, one brother, Louis of Dayton and two sisters, Marie and Margaret, at home.

A personable young man, Mr. Stewart had always been popular in school and in the neighborhood where he made his home, making many friends who, with his family, will feel his loss keenly.
