Arthelia (Pat) Hoeppner, 89, Chillicothe, Mo., a former Webster City resident, died Saturday, Sept. 23, 2000 at the Liberty Hospital in Liberty, Mo. Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Foster Funeral Home with Rev. Jamie Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery.

Arthelia Ellen Mullenix, daughter of Hugh and Cora Thompson Mullenix, was born April 16, 1911 at Cherokee. She received her education in the Cherokee school system. On May 20, 1929 she married Henry August William Hoeppner. The couple resided at Cherokee and Sioux City, then moved to a farm near Lehigh in 1945. In 1951, they moved to Webster City. She had been employed at Super Maid Cafe, Fairmont Frozen Foods and Crestview Manor Care Center. Mr. Hoeppner died Oct. 9, 1976. She moved to Eagle Grove in 1979 and to Chillicothe in 1998.

Survivors are her daughters and sons-in-law, Louise and Richard Bowden, Williams; Mary Lou and Bill Tate, Agency, Darlene McNeilly, Dickinson, ND, Loretta and Robert Hill, Eagle Grove, Pam and Gary Eide of Chillicothe, daughter-in-law, Annelise Hoeppner, of Columbia, SC., 20 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by sons, Larry, Ray and Eddie Hoeppner, daughter, Euena McDonald, grandson, Richard Hill, parents, sons-in-law, John McNeilly and Gene McDonald.

She was a member of the Lutheran Church in Cherokee.
