Mrs. Ruth V. Lacy, 75, a former Webster City resident, died Sunday at Mercy hospital in Iowa City. She had been residing in Keota, Iowa since July 1979.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Powell Funeral home in Keota with the Rev. Eugene Blake officiating and with burial in the Keota cemetery.

Ruth V. Meeker, daughter of Bert and Flora Dennis Meeker, was born Feb. 12, 1904 at Waupaca, Wis. She attended schools at Webster City.

She was married to Harry Brower Feb. 14, 1922. Her husband preceded her in death.

She was later married to Charles Lacy, Jr. April 22, 1930 at Webster City. Mr. Lacy died in 1944.

Survivors include the following children: Donald Brower, Tucson, Ariz., Mrs. Floyd (Charlotte) Brown of Keota, Mrs. Rosemary Kaster of Clear Lake, three step-children, Otis Lacy of Marshalltown, Mrs. Anna Merrill, Webster City and Mrs. Ross (Evelyn) Burnett, Webster City, 11 grandchildren, 11 step-grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
