Emabel P. Kaine, 96, Webster City, died August 31, 2000 at her home. The body was cremated. There will be no services. Gunderson Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Fort Dodge are in charge of arrangements.

Emabel Palmer was born Sept. 1, 1903 at Augusta, Ark. In 1927, she married Ray Connell in Topeka, Kan. He passed away in 1930. In 1940, she married Charles Kaine in San Francisco, Calif. He died in 1980. She continued to reside in San Francisco until February, 1998 when she moved to Webster City.

Survivors are nieces and nephews, Art and Laurel Palmer, Webster City, Martin and Shirley Palmer, Mary Lee Canamore, Deanne Evans and Pearl Palmer, Kensett, Ark., ten great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl Henry and Mary Maud Palmer, her husbands, and brothers, Hildreth and DeMar Palmer, and nephew, Perry Palmer.
