Dorothy J. Wood, 70, of Pueblo West, Colorado, passed away peacefully on September 3, 2022. She is preceded in death by her husband, William 'Jeffrey' Wood; father, Perry T. Ford; son, Clifford Worline; brother, Jerry Ford; and grandparents, Bernice and Sue Markwardt and Perry L. and Hazel Ford. Dorothy is survived by her mother, Eleanor Ford; sons, Michael 'Scott' Walter and Mathew L. (Maggie) Worline; sister, Linda (Phil) Reinpold; and brother, Larry (Dolores) Ford. A Celebration of Life will take place 1 p.m. Saturday, October 15, 2022 at the VFW Post #5812, 127 E. Spaulding Avenue, Pueblo West, Colorado 81007. Dorothy J. Wood, 70 of Pueblo West, Colorado passed away on September 3, 2022. She was born on October 10, 1951, in Webster City, Iowa. She is preceded in death by her Husband, William “Jeffrey” Wood; father, Perry T. Ford; son, Clifford Worline; brother, Jerry Ford; and grandparents, Bernice and Sue Markwardt, and Perry L. and Hazel Ford. Dorothy is survived by her mother, Eleanor Ford; sons, Michael “Scott” Walter, and Mathew L. (Maggie) Worline; sister, Linda (Phil) Reinpold; and brother, Larry (Dolores) Ford. Dorothy worked in hospitality until retirement and was an auxiliary member of the VFW Auxiliary Post #5812. Dorothy was a fun-loving person and always had a smile on her face with a positive attitude. She was friendly to everyone and would always say “have a good day” to someone she had just met, at a store or after an appointment. Dorothy loved her family. She will be remembered, loved, and dearly missed.
