Marian A. Park, 79, of Webster City, died Saturday, July 12, 2003 at the Hamilton Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Foster Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Shelley officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday and prior to services Tuesday at the funeral home.

Marian Ann Clausen, daughter of Jacob and Ann Davis Clausen, was born Feb. 16, 1924 at Duncombe. She graduated from the Duncombe High School in 1940. On Sept. 22, 1941 she married Vivien Eugene Park at Princeton, Missouri. The couple resided in Webster City. She worked for Places Department Store, Dunn's Super Valu and the Best Western Motel, all in Webster City.

Mrs. Park is survived by her husband, Vivien; sons and daughter-in-law, Gary and Ardys Park of Des Moines, Robert Park of Webster City; daughters and sons-in-law, Sue and Kyle Hoover of Webster City, Leah and Terry Jones of Ames; grandchildren, Matthew, Patrick and Stephanie Ruhl, Scott and Todd Park, Robert Park Jr., Tonia Johnson, Elizabeth Hoover and Larissa and Eric Jones; sisters, Charlotte Bock, Shirley Slama, Bee Brown, Mary Guthrie all of Fort Dodge, Dorothy O'Brien of Belmond and Judy Brandt of Clarion; brothers, Carlyle Clausen of Long Beach, CA, Clayton Clausen of De Funiak Springs, FL, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and two brothers.

Mrs. Park was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church in Webster City. She enjoyed listening to her grandchildren playing their musical instruments along with watching their other activities.
