Astrid Fagervik, 94, Williams, died Saturday, March 29, 2003 at Heritage Care Center in Iowa Falls. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Williams with Rev. Tom Hunt officiating. Burial will be in the Williams Cemetery. Visitation is Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. at the Surls Funeral home in Williams, with the family present from 6-8 p.m.

Astrid Ingeborg Dahlquist was born May 4, 1908 in Blekinge, Sweden, the daughter of Olof Nelson and Mathilda Johansson Dahlquist. She came to America in 1928, living in Chicago with her brothers, Carl and Allen. She married Arne John Fagervik on March 24, 1940 at Chicago. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Fagervik was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Ladies Aid, Birthday Club and was St. Paul's custodian.

Survivors are two sons, Arne Wayne Fagervik and wife Kathy, Blairsburg and Roger Olof Fagervik and wife Sheryl of Blairsburg; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four sisters Rut Olsen, Sweden, Ella Sellman, Sweden, Maja Olson of Plymouth, Minn., and Doris Rillver of Sweden; two sisters-in-law, Magund Dahlquist of Sweden and Grace Fagervik of Fergus Falls, Minn. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers, Einer, Carl, Allen, Gerdif Nels and an infant brother, Gerdif Lennard; and an infant sister, Margit.
