Hazel Dell Kreitlow, 89, of Marshalltown died of a heart ailment Saturday at Heritage Care Center in Iowa Falls. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church in Iowa Falls. Burial will be at Williams Cemetery.

Mrs. Kreitlow was born in Spring Hill and later moved to Marshalltown. She was a cafeteria cook, sold Avon products and had a greenhouse. She enjoyed reading, crafts and shoveling snow. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Order of the Eastern Star, American Legion Auxiliary and Williams Thursday Tea Club.

She is survived by three daughters, Gwen Cox of Cypress, Texas, Alyse Joswiak of Marshalltown, and Bea Abbas of Alden; a stepdaughter, Sandra Fouquette of Foley, Minn.; two brothers, Maury Lee Weeks of Cedar Rapids, Leland Weeks of Montclair, Calif.; two sisters, Lily Foust of Garden Grove and B. Eva Howell of Chicago; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell.

Linn's Funeral Homes is handling arrangements.
