Hazel Pringle, 88, Webster City, died Friday, Aug. 30, 2002 at Hamilton Hospital. Private graveside memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangements were made with Foster Funeral Home.

Hazel Beard, daughter of John and Marina Bennett Beard, was born Oct. 20, 1913 on a farm southwest of Oskaloosa. She received her education in the Oskaloosa area. On Dec. 4, 1931, she married James H. Humble at Webster City. They resided at Stanhope and Webster City. They were divorced in 1950. On March 1, 1953 she married Roland (Gus) Pringle at Fort Dodge. The couple resided in Fort Dodge and in 1958 moved to Webster City. She had worked at the Terrace Lounge in Fort Dodge, the Pringle Apartments in Webster City and Trump's in Williams. Mr. Pringle died Aug. 11, 1967.

Mrs. Pringle is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Ann Humble, daughter and son-in-law, Jean and Kenny Belew, all of Webster City, five grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 2 nieces and a nephew.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, a nephew, J.D. Beard, brothers, Dan, Forrest and John Beard, sisters, Opal Glaman and Vera Rasmussen.

She was a member of the Church of Christ. Memorials may be given to Meals on Wheels.
