Connie Pfaffenbach, 60, Vincent, died Monday, Aug. 19, 2002 at Trinity Regional Hospital in Fort Dodge. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Foster Funeral Home with Rev. John Grebner officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 5-9 p.m. Friday and prior to the service on Saturday.

Connie Sue Hanson, daughter of Merlin and Anna Erdman Hanson, was born April 22, 1942 at Webster City. She received her education in Webster City schools, graduating in 1960. She graduated from the University of Iowa with a degree in Obstetrics Technology and was employed at the University and Hamilton Hospital. On August 22, 1965 she married Walter Steven Pfaffenbach at Trinity Lutheran Church in Webster City. The couple resided in Mason City. She worked at St. Joseph's Mercy Hospital in Mason City. In 1974, she became vice president and corporate secretary for Pfaffenbach Trucking. Because of failing health, she had been retired for the past 20 years.

Mrs. Pfaffenbach is survived by her husband, Steve; mother, Ann Pierce of Webster City; brothers and sisters-in-law, Marty and Deb Hanson of Webster City, Dr. Mark and Jackie Hanson of Ankeny; mother-in-law, Nina Knight of Fort Dodge, several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father; step-father, Merrill Pierce; grandparents, sister, Jean Flohr; and nephew, Trent Halverson.

She was a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
