Leonard E. Westwick, 77, Williams, died Saturday, Aug. 17, 2002 at Scenic Manor Nursing Home in Iowa Falls. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Williams with Rev. Tom Hunt to officiate. Burial is in Rose Grove Cemetery. Friends may call at the Surls Funeral Home in Iowa Falls Monday from 3-8 p.m.

Leonard E. Westwick was born Jan. 8, 1925 at Williams, the son of Jacob and Carrie Hill Westwick. He graduated from Ellsworth High School. Mr. Westwick a own turkey farm and was retired. [that's what the obituary said] He enjoyed bowling and was a sports enthusiast.

Survivors are his sister, Ruth Ruppel of Webster City, two sisters-in-law, Hazel Westwick of Iowa Falls and Ruth Westwick of Ellsworth, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Elmer, Merlin and Jesse Westwick; two sisters, Leona Jensen and Irene Iverson; and one niece Carmen Hill.
