Michelle McNew, 31, Dakota City, died Sunday, June 30, 2002 at Dakota City. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Graceland Cemetery in Webster City. Visitation will be held Wednesday 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. at Foster Funeral Home in Webster City.

Michelle Ann Marie McNew, daughter of Donald and Wanda Cooley McNew, was born Sept. 19, 1970 at San Diego, Calif. She received her education from the Fort Dodge Community Schools. She also attended Iowa Central Community College where she received a certificate in Business related coursework. She most recently worked as a cook, mapplanner and as a housekeeper.

She is survived by her three children, Amanda Kay French McNew, Koby Bryan McNew and Zachary Floyd Young, all of Dakota City, mother, Wanda Johnson of Clarion, father and stepmother, Donald and Rhonda McNew of Fort Dodge, brother and sister-in-law, Don and Denise McNew, Webster City, grandfather, Charles McNew and a special friend, Lonnie Young.

Michelle was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Pauline Jimmerson and Lois Teichert.
