Iris Marie Dugan, 81, Woodward, died June 11, 2002 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the Woodward United Methodist Church in Woodward with burial in the Woodward Cemetery. Visitation is Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Brandt Funeral Home in Woodward. Memorials may be directed to the Woodward Rescue Unit or the Woodward United Methodist Church.

Iris Marie Dugan lived in Webster City from 1949 to 1983, and in Dexter from 1983 to 1991. She was a homemaker. Iris was a former member of Webster City Methodist Church and attended the Woodward United Methodist Church. She was a Sunday School teacher, a Girl Scout leader, Cub Scout leader, president of the PTA in Webster City and was involved in Headstart in Webster City. She was also a member of the We-Wanna-Go Winnebago Club.

Mrs. Dugan is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Dugan-Folio and husband Donald of Wichita, Kan., a son, Boyd D. Dugan and wife Susan of Woodward, 3 grandchildren, Nicholas, Matthew and Kristopher Dugan, all of Woodward; and sister, Bettie Stiles and husband Fred, Des Moines. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Dr. Boyd Dean Dugan in May 1997 and two sisters.
