Joyce Hagler, 81, of Webster City died Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at Van Diest Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Faith United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, February 11, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Foster Funeral and Cremation Center.

Joyce Elaine Callies, daughter of Herb and Marie (Schutt), was born August 9, 1940 in Webster City. She graduated from Eagle Grove High school in 1958. On June 18, 1961, she was united in marriage to Robert Farley. To this union two children were born, Kimberly and Kreg. The couple later divorced. Joyce found her life-long companion and was married to Dennis Hagler on May 10, 1976 in Webster City. For many years Joyce worked as an insurance agent at the Insurance Center and Town & Country Insurance.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Denny of Webster City; children, Kimberly (Steve Briola) Kuhlers of Goodell, Kreg (Toni) Farley of Marion, Leanne (Ras) Rasmussen of Blue Springs, MO, Mark (Deb) Hagler of Morris, IL; son-in-law, Dave Vavroch of Burlington; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren to be born this year and many extended family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter, Cindy Vavroch and brother, Dwain Callies.

Joyce was a member of Faith United Methodist Church. She enjoyed golfing, bowling and cheering on the Iowa State Cyclones. Joyce and Denny enjoyed 19 years of wintering in Florida.
