Cleone Menage, 74, of Webster City, died Saturday, May 7, 2005 at Crestview Senior Living. Her body was donated to the Des Moines University Medical Department. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 21, 2005 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, with Rev. John Flaherty officiating. Arrangements were made with the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center.

Cleone Dorothy Schulte, daughter of Frank and Catherine Kelly Schulte, was born April 15, 1931 at Luverne, Minnesota. She attended St. Theresa College at Winona, MN, University of Iowa and Buena Vista. She started teaching at Perry, IA. On June 5, 1952 she married Leo T. Menage in Holy Name Catholic Church at Rock Rapids, IA. The couple resided at Austin, MN. In 1953, they moved to Elmore, MN, she taught second grade, then from 1954-1968 they resided at Rockwell City. She taught in the Webster City school system from 1968 until her retirement in 1992.

Mrs. Menage is survived by her husband, Leo; sons and daughters-in-law, Timothy and Karen Menage of Moline, IL.; Brian Menage of Des Moines; John and Sue Menage of Van Horne, IA; grandchildren, Olivia, Alexander and Sarah Menage; sister and brother-in-law, Darlene and Alvin DeSmit of Larchwood, IA.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, James Schulte.

She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. She enjoyed traveling, reading and finances. She had toured in 43 of the 50 states as well as Canada, Mexico and many European countries.

The family suggests memorial to St. Thomas school.
