Faye Wilson, 92, of Webster City, died Wednesday, March 2, 2005 at Middleton, Indiana. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Faith United Methodist Church, with Rev. Brian Carter officiating. Visitation will be one hour before the service.

Myrtle Faye Sprong, daughter of Franklin and Ica Hollett Sprong, was born September 21, 1912 at West Bend. She received her education in West Bend schools. On April 19, 1930 she married Archie Leroy Wilson at Webster City. The couple resided at Webster City. She provided a housekeeping service at Webster City for many residents, including Dr. and Paulette Reviez. She also was employed in several restaurants at Webster City and was famous for her cinnamon rolls. Mr. Wilson died in April of 1980. She continued to reside at Webster City. She had lived with her daughter at Middleton for the past three months.

Mrs. Wilson is survived by daughters and son-in-law, Shirley Schmidt of Fort Dodge; Verna and Ray Peckinpaugh of Middleton, In.; Arlene Beightol of Webster City; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; brother Gerald Sprong of Branson, Mo.; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Clyde Wilson and daughter, Vivian Wirtjes; parents; two brothers and eight sisters; son-in-law, Marvin Schmidt.
