Barbara A. Tilley, 76, Webster City, died Wednesday, Nov. 14, 2001 at the Southfield Wellness Community in Webster City. Services will be Saturday, Nov. 17 at 1 p.m. at Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home in Fort Dodge with the Rev. Brian Carter, Faith United Methodist Church, Webster City, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery in Fort Dodge. Visitation will be held from noon until the time of services on Saturday.

Survivors include son Rick Martin, Cedar Rapids, daughter Connie (Mrs. Lowell) Rutz, Cedar Rapids, daughter Dottie (Mrs. Denny) Parkhill, Webster City, son Ed Martin, Fort Dodge, and son Loys Baethke, Ladora; 15 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; stepdaughter Peggy Parker, Jefferson; several stepgrandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jacob and Barbara Sego, her husband, Lois D. (Jack) Martin, her husband, Gerald L. Tilley, brothers Levi, Ike, Harvey, Herb, Jack, John, Jim and Dave Sego and sister Rose Slama.

Barbara A. Sego was born Sept. 15, 1925 in Lancaster, Mo. She married Lois D. (Jack) Martin in 1945. They resided in the Fort Dodge area. Jack died in 1960. She married Gerald Tilley in Boone in 1965. They moved to Oregon in 1971. Gerald died in 1991. She was employed by Timber Operators Council Tree Nursery in Aurora, Ore., and was a member of Woodworkers I.A.M. Union until she retired.

She was a member of Gleaners Senior Services, and was active following her retirement volunteering to transport senior citizens and delivering meals on wheels. She was a well-known Chihuahua dog breeder. She returned to Iowa in 1997 to be near her family.

Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
