Marian Daniels, 75, of Webster City, died Friday, September 28, 2001 at her home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the First Congregational - U.C.C. Church, with Rev. James Buffington officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Foster Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday and prior to the service at the church.

Marian Faye Isebrands, daughter of Menno and Anna (Boyenga) Isebrands, was born May 7, 1926 at Blairsburg. In 1936, the family moved to Webster City. She attended Webster City schools and graduated from Lincoln High in 1943. In 1946, she graduated from the University of Iowa, with a B.S.C. degree. She moved to Chicago and was employed at Rand McNally & Co. On May 15, 1954, she married Harry M. Daniels at Skokie, Il. The couple resided at Suttons Bay, Mi., until 1957 when they moved to Fort Wayne, In. In 1959, they moved to Webster City. She had been employed as a real estate broker, legal secretary and for many years, Clerk of District Court for Hamilton County retiring in 1988.

Mrs. Daniels is survived by her husband, Harry, daughter and son-in-law, Faye and Don Cowell of Johnston, Ia., son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Jolene Daniels of Fort Dodge; grandchildren, Michael, Megan and Mindy Cowell; Breanna and Brandon Daniels; sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Ray Daum of Edina, Mn.; a niece and nephew, Betty Daum of Rowlett, Tx.; Mark Daum of Edina.

She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Doris Ruppel in 1988; granddaughter, Laura Ann Cowell in 1981.

Her memberships included: First Congregational Church, former treasurer of the Women's Fellowship of her church, Business and Professional Women's Club, life member of the University of Iowa Alumni Association, life member of the University of Iowa College of Business Administration Continuant Association, the 45th edition of Marquis Who's Who in America, in 1991 received the Eunice Delight Brown Award from the Iowa B.P.W., former member advisory council for I.C.C.C., former board chairman of the Rainbow for Girls, former chairman of the Webster City Planning Commission, former treasurer of the Webster City Planning Commission, former treasurer of the Webster City P.T.A. council, former member of the Spotlight Community Presentations Advisory Board, precinct committee chairman and Republic Central committee, past president of the Business and Professional Women, past president of the District I Iowa Clerk of Court Association, Order of Eastern Star, American Legion Auxiliary, V.F.W. Auxiliary, Women of the Moose and the Webster City Senior Citizens Club.
