Andrew Jones, 23, Des Moines, a former Webster City resident, died Sunday, July 22 at Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines following a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. today at the Foster Funeral Home of Webster City, Tim Worstell officiating. Burial was in the Cass Center Cemetery, Webster City.

Andrew Dean Jones, son of Jerold and Maxine (Wisecup) Jones, was born Sept. 24, 1966 in Webster City. He attended the Vinton School for the Blind and graduated from Webster City High School. He attended Iowa Central Community College for one year, and had most recently been employed as a shoe salesman at Southridge Mall in Des Moines.

He is survived by his mother, Maxine, Boone; his father, Jerold, Webster City; two brothers, Keith Jones of Texas; and twin brother, Arthur Jones, Des Moines; three sisters, Christine Ribbey, Boston, Mass.; Shirley (Mrs. Jim) Christensen, Clarinda; and Cynthia Jones, Shellsburg; and nieces and nephews.

Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his grandparents.
