Clarence "Pete" Edward Dickerson passed away at the Israel Hospice House in Ames, Iowa September 25, 2020 with family and friends by his side.

He was born in Iowa City, Iowa on April 15, 1950 to Harvey and Lena Fern (Murray) Dickerson.

Pete served in the Army and held a variety of jobs until he retired from Todd and Sargent after 31 years.

During his free time he enjoyed fishing for catfish and shark, hunting for pheasants and deer, gardening, camping and spending time with family and friends.

Pete was preceded in death by his parents, sisters - Beverly Bolt, Sharon Risdal and Connie Young, brother - Bill Dickerson and Dickie and Dale Dickerson, a grandson and a great grandson.

Pete is survived by his wife Charlene (Sandve), brother - Melvin Dickerson of Boone, Iowa, children - Tina Golay of Morenci, Arizona, Frankie (Celeste) Goerner of Colo, Iowa, Traci (Wade) Miller of Jewell, Iowa, Michelle Dickerson of Jewell, Iowa and Toby Dickerson of Jewell, Iowa, 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at Mount Olive Cemetery in Randall, Iowa at a later date. A Celebration of Life will also be held at a later date.
