Grace "Marge" Marjorie Lande-Sellers, 97, of Jewell and formerly of Huxley went to be home with Jesus on July 24, 2021 at Bethany Life in Story City. Funeral services were held Tuesday July 27 at 10:30 am at Fjeldberg Lutheran Church in Huxley. Burial followed in the Fjeldberg Church Cemetery.

Marge was born on October 15, 1923 in Story County to Hartwick and Ruth (Johnson) Swenson She was a member of Bethesda Lutheran Church in Jewell and Fjeldberg Lutheran Church in Huxley. Marge enjoyed reading and her family was very important to her. She loved her children, but was especially fond of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Marge was a strong and true believer in Jesus Christ and a true servant.

She is survived by her three sons, Gayle Lande of Davenport, Duane (Yoshiko) Lande of Ames and Ted (Mellie) Lande of Temecula, CA; her two daughters, Janey (Mark) Hobson of Eldora and Kris (Mike) Boyd of Jewell; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Marge was preceded in death by her parents; her two husbands, Everett Lande and Raymond Sellers; a daughter-in-law, Chic Lande and her two sisters, Jean Saveraid and Ruth Smith.

Soderstrum-Reimers Funeral Home in Jewell is entrusted with arrangements.
