Audrey Elliott, 92 of Andover, MN, passed away on July 11, 2021, at J.A. Wedum Residential Hospice in Brooklyn Park, MN. Private family services will be held this summer.

She was born on September 30, 1928, to Carl and Ruth [Williams] Bell. She was delivered at home by her father at the family farm in Stratford, Iowa. Audrey grew up in Duncombe and graduated from Webster City High School in 1946.

She married Marvin Elliott on January 10, 1954, in Webster City. Later they moved from the farm to Madelia, MN where Marvin taught Adult Agriculture, and in 1977 they returned to Webster City. In 2015 Audrey moved to Andover, MN to be closer to her children. Audrey received her B.S. degree from Minnesota State University in Mankato in 1972. She taught art at Madelia High School from 1973 to 1976 and upon returning to Iowa, she taught art at Webster City Jr. High from 1978 to 1990.

Audrey enjoyed gardening, transforming the family farm into a floral paradise. She also enjoyed painting, knitting, traveling, and shopping, especially when she could find a good deal. She loved spending time with her friends and family and was always up for a new adventure. She greatly valued the friendships she developed throughout her life. They included life-long friends from high school to friends she met while teaching to new friends she met as she moved to new places. Most recently, Audrey used her artistic skills to create quilts, hats, and scarves, donating them to those in need.

Her family includes: son Steve (Deb) Elliott, of Andover, MN; daughter Kay (Bill Cosgrove) Elliott, of Brooklyn Center, MN; grandson Jacob Elliott; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin; her parents, Carl and Ruth Bell; brothers: Robert, Richard, and sister Virginia (Bell) Yockey.

Memorials will be directed to UDMO food bank in Webster City and the American Cancer Society. The family has chosen Boman Funeral Home (www.bomanfh.com) to care for their needs.
