On June 1st, 2021, Donna Jean Peed, 91, of Webster City, died peacefully in her home surrounded by members of her family. Donna was born in January, 1930 in Lucas, Iowa to Roy and Ruth Lovell. In August of 1946, she married Robert D. Peed and together they raised five children, Francis, Darlene, Roberta, Arlene and Jack, while residing in Fort Dodge and then Badger.

Donna worked numerous jobs including many years at Sears, served for years as a volunteer on behalf of the Badger Library and a Badger Fest. She was an avid bowler on the King and Queens League, loved to play card games, camp, travel, and go to auctions, but was best known for her famous chocolate chip cookies, unsurpassable pies, her chicken and noodles, garage sales, and above all, devotion to her family. She was beloved and will be sorely missed by three generations of family and her friends.

Donna was preceded in death by her mother and father, her husband Bob, daughter Arlene Peed, Ft. Dodge, and siblings Doris, Iva, Charles, Ted, and Eula. She is survived by her children, Frank Peed, Wisconsin, Darlene Williams and her husband Don, Webster City, Roberta Anderson and her husband Pete, Florida, and Jack and Kris Peed, Webster City, her sister Shirley, 20 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.

She was a member of the Church of Christ in Webster City. A service was held at the Highland Memorial Park Gardens Cemetery in Des Moines where she was laid to rest.
