Jody L. Danner, 48, Webster City, died Thursday, August 9, 2001 at the Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Webster City with Rev. Bill Kem officiating. Burial will be in the Rosehill Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Marshalltown. Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. Sunday at the Foster Funeral Home and after 9 a.m. Monday at the church.

Jody Leroy Danner, son of Rolland and Louise Rodgers Danner, was born Dec. 12, 1952 at Marshalltown. He graduated from Marshalltown High School in 1972. He was in the U.S. Navy from 1972 through 1976, stationed in San Diego, CA. On August 13, 1988 he married Paula Faith Decker in Marshalltown. The couple resided in Webster City. He was employed by Electrolux in Webster City as a tool and die worker.

He is survived by his wife, Paula; daughter Shannon Danner of Yokosuka, Japan; son, Jason Danner of Ames; mother Louise Danner of Marshalltown; sister Becky Lunsford of Albion; brother Rollie Danner of Marshalltown; three nieces and one nephew.

He was preceded in death by his father, Rollie in 1989, and his grandparents.

Mr. Danner was a member of the First Baptist Church in Webster City and the Skilled Trades Committee of Electrolux.
